Exiled – The Theme of Gypsies in the 19th and 20th Century Slovak Fine Art

The East Slovak Gallery published this catalogue after the end of the exhibition Exiled: The Theme Gypsies in the 19th and 20th Century Slovak Fine Art, which provided viewers with a historic and ethnographic perspective on the life of the Roma community in Slovakia through the scope of classical fine art genres confronted by documentary photographic material. Creating a set of artworks from the collection funds of Slovak cultural institutions gave rise to an integrated thematic collection enabling further historical, artistic and sociological analysis.

This catalogue was supported by public funds from the Fund for the Arts.
