This guide can be used directly in the exhibition space. During the exhibition’s duration, visitors may pick up a pencil case at the lodge at 22 Alžbetina Street and use the tools for free. The East Slovak Gallery published this catalogue after the end of the exhibition Exiled: The Theme Gypsies in the 19th and 20th Century Slovak Fine Art, which provided viewers with a historic and ethnographic perspective on the life of the Roma community in Slovakia through the scope of classical fine art genres confronted by documentary photographic material. Creating a set of artworks from the collection funds of Slovak cultural institutions gave rise to an integrated thematic collection enabling further historical, artistic and sociological analysis.
