Welcome to the Reflections on Resilience art exhibition, organized by UNHCR. This exhibition features art pieces which are based on material created by refugee, Slovak and Roma communities across Slovakia during UNHCR's campaign 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence. Through their artwork, these communities and the humanitarian partners involved aim to express their views, reflect on ongoing actions, and call for further and collective engagement against gender-based violence (GBV).Each art piece showcased here reflects on a story of resilience, courage, and empowerment in the face of adversity.As you explore the artwork displayed in this exhibition, we invite you to reflect on the voices behind each piece and consider how we can all play a role in creating a world free from gender-based violence.Thank you for joining us in this important discussion.
